I knew it from the thumb, the Getty is my second home.

Nice lines and flow to this, love the reflections, the tones and composition..a beauty.

I have a similar one taken of the same Getty building.

Some would say shooting an appealing reflection shot like this would be a no-brainer, but this is a lot more visually clever than average...

It's that the lining up of lines and planes is so flawless, but then there's some unlikely sense of distortion within that makes viewing this feel a little nebulous...

I can't tell exactly why this is - is it the shape of the building? distortion in the glass? the sunlight adding new opposition lines to the whole? all of these things?

Okay, yes, we see in the building to the left that there must be some distortion to the glass... but surely too it's not merely this simple... and that building amplifies the whole effect...

It's that there is a pervasive design of straightness and flatness, and then within a tremulous feeling, and that makes this stand head-and-shoulders above the average architectural reflection shot, a real stand-out.

Very beautiful. It is angled perfectly to frame the reflection and center it well. The colors are brilliant without being vivid. The cold greys and cobalts add well to the shot. Very very nice.
